OLD DISTILLERY SHOPPING CENTER

consignment.  Entertaining, seasonal, patio & outdoor wares.

photographers, and crafts.  Located on Main Street in Columbia,
Illinois, in the St. Louis Metro East area.
Our store is located in the Old Distillery Shopping Center at the
intersection of Gundlach and Main Streets in downtown Columbia,
Illinois.  The Distillery Center was redeveloped by JAG, Inc. of
Columbia as a mixed-use development, featuring first floor retail and
office space, and second floor residential loft units.

The Old Distillery was constructed in the 19th Century as a brewery
and distillery of beers and alcohol spirits.  The Distillery saw several
operators under different names over the decades.  One of the
latter-day operators, Columbia American Distillers, Inc., produced
whiskey under three popular brand names: 'Old Monroe,' 'Columbia,
'
and 'Rocky Ridge.'  The photo to the left shows the boilers that once
were installed in the space now occupied by our store.
Our store retains much of the history of the Old Distillery, including
exposed brick finishes, high ceilings, and period lighting fixtures.
Instead of brewing up beers and whiskeys, we now offer a carefully
curated selection of furniture, home decor, furnishings, accessories,
and artwork; seasonal decor; entertaining, patio, and outdoor living
wares; fashion jewelry, sunglasses, purses, and accessories;
gourmet party food and drinks; gifts for holidays, birthdays,
weddings, and baby showers; and art, photography, and crafts from
local artisans.  Our inventory changes daily, so we constantly offer
new and unique items to our customers.

We share the Old Distillery with Wagner Photography,
the Patina Pony, Fashion Attic 4 Kids, and Edward Jones Advisors.  Just across the street is Reifschneider's Grill & Grape Restaurant, and we are within a short walk of Dear Diva Desserts Bakery.  Plan to spend a couple of hours or an afternoon enjoying shopping and dining along Main Street!
